Washington state considers a fine of $124 for parking a gas-powered car in a plug-in charging location.

Watch out, Washington ICErs! The state legislature has approved a bill which will pave the way for fining people ($124!) who ICE EV charging spots. The bill passed with a 7-1 margin and now only needs the governor’s approval.

Looks like some lawmakers in Washington are thinking about penalizing ICErs with a $250 fine, the same penalty for illegally parking in a disabled spot.

We’re glad they’re recognizing this as a problem and we hope this takes off.
